It is worth noting, however, that the GRL 400 H only supports single-axis self-levelling. That means that on uneven surfaces, the other axis needs to be adjusted manually to make sure it is properly level.

Another important point is that the battery life of this cross-line laser may not be enough for heavier use. In our testing, the GRL 400 H performed well under normal conditions, but for longer working sessions a spare battery becomes fairly essential, which may be a limitation for some projects that require continuous operation.
